Lashes

I LOVE LASHES. Like SERIOUSLY love lashes! They just take every look to the next level. Especially for pictures. I have found in my business that once 1 client gets lashes, EVERYONE wants lashes.

Below are my top 5 lashes for my kit, in no particular order.

These lashes are for the client who LOVES a DRAMATIC lash. It's soft and sparse kind of like your traditional Demi Wispies lash, but longer with more of an impact.

These lashes are for the client who wants to have a little extra something something for their look, but doesn't want to go TOO overboard. It reminds me of the popular Demi Wispies lash, but with a slightly longer and more 'flicked out' outer edge.

These lashes are for the client who wants to a lash, but wants the bare minimum of a lash. I use these on my clients who generally don't wear makeup, but realize that the camera requires a little bit more. This is generally my GO TO lash for the Mother of the Brides.

*SPOILER ALERT - The lovely model in this picture was the bride for a styled shoot that I collaborated with a TON of amazing vendors on! That blog will be out VERY soon!

These lashes are for the client who wants to a lash that provides a doll-like effect.I use these on my clients who like to go GLAM. Unfortunately I couldn't find any pics with this lash being used, but I do have a video showcasing them.

These lashes are for the client who wants a step up from the #03 lashes but is not comfortable with the #11. I use these ALOT for a natural look with just a bit of drama.

Liners

Liners are definitely needed to blend the false lashes in and intensify the eye makeup.

I do most of my work with Inglot Gel Liner, But I also use Kohl and Gel pencils for varied effects. I don't have a particular brand of pencils I prefer to work with.

Black:

I use this for almost every client to blend in the lash and create the my wings. If the client can tolerate it, I use it to tight line the waterlines.

Brown:

I use this to mix in with the black to create a dark brown and for the rare occasion that I have a client using brown lashes. It's a beautiful taupe-yet still a bit warm brown.

Champagne:

I use this liner to clean up the top of my black liner. Some days my line doesn't come out as straight as I would like, so I fine tune with this product. It works best when the client has a flesh-toned to medium shade of shadow on the eyes.

*Side note, this product is BOMB for creating a cut crease <3

This gel liner is a great all purpose liner! I use it to line water lines, create a soft liner effect, and as a dark base to build a smokey eye up with. It is a great detailing product.

This powder liner is like a Kohl pencil, but more powdery. The sponge applicator helps create the perfect smudge and soft blend out. I use this to darken the last line when I don't want a precise line. It also helps in creating a quick smokey effect on the bottom lash line.

Below are some of the other tools needed to expertly apply false strip lashes.
